Most students say mathematics is difficult . I do not think so! It is surely because of the foundation they had from the beginning. A solid foundation in math is the key to success in your studies. Also a weak foundation is the key to failure. That foundation in math is algebra. I am going to build it here for you. It does not matter if you have ever studied algebra or not. whether old or young, student or not, you will have much to learn from here.
I am Awah Aweh a teacher of mathematics since October 1997 till date. I have a diploma to teaching Mathematics in the secondary and high school from the University of Yaounde 1 where I enrolled from 1994 to 1997. This was followed by a Bachelor of Science Degree( Bsc) Math which I obtained in 2002.
I have taught mathematics in all the grades in secondary and high school in seven different Government , Private and Mission secondary and high schools . In the course of my work, I have discovered that many students hate and fail in mathematics because the basic concept or the background in algebra was not well imparted or taught. This made math so more abstract to them. Worst of all, topics and lessons were barely or not related to daily life making things more difficult to be interpreted by the learners.
I am so passionate about algebra and eager to help you learn it. I have helped learners of all ages and stages- from kindergarten through high school and continuing education and career. I will provide empowering , encouraging support to help you complete your assignments, improve grades and persist in your studies. I am a High School certified Math educator currently teaching grades 9-12. I have been tutoring and teaching for 24 years, coaching students at all grade levels, as well as college going. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education (BA, Edu) with a major in mathematics.
I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics. I offer Math coaching for students in grades K-to-12 (Elementary, Middle and High School). Homework help and preparation for school curriculum, quizzes and assessments are provided. I'm very familiar with the Mathematics Core Curriculum Content Standards.
